OK, what an utterly unoriginal way to start a blog. My first post and I go for the most cliched, over-used opening phrase… well, maybe “Friends, Romans, Country men, lend me your ears!” Actually, that’s a pretty cool quote (thanks, Bill Shakespeare).
So, why a new blog, when I hardly keep the old one up to date anyways?
I’ve heard wordpress is easier to use, and I’, all for easy. I have exactly one and a half years to prove to myself and my bank account that I can make it as a professional writer, after that, I’m back in the classroom. I don’t want to go back to the classroom. Don’t get me wrong, I love teaching, I really do, but I love writing more. So much more. And to be a writer has been my dreams since… well, since ever. This means anything that makes getting out there easier is for me.
I’m going to give wordpress a go. Let’s see where it takes me… Care to come along for the ride?
